Ingredients
  

  • Quinoa - 1 cup
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
  • Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu - 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi - a pinch
  • Cumin Seeds - ½ tsp
  • Black Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Dry Red Chilli - 2
  • Curry leaves a sprig
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice - from 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook quinoa in 2 cups of water or as per package directions. Fluff it and set aside to cool.
  • Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add all seasoning ingredients and let it sizzle.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  • Add cooked quinoa and mix well.
  • Stir fry for few mins.,
  • Serve.
