Ingredients

Black Eyed Peas - 1 cup
▢
Oil - 1 tsp
▢
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
▢
Urad dal - 1 tsp
▢
Dry Red Chilli - 1
▢
Curry leaves a handful
▢
Asafoetida a pinch
▢
Salt to taste
Instructions
▢
Soak black eyed peas for 4 to 6 hours. Drain and add to pressure cooker, add salt and pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistle. Drain it and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard, urad dal and let it sizzle.
▢
Add in curry leaves, dry red chilli and asofoetida.
▢
Add in black eyed peas and salt.
▢
Mix well.
▢
