Aloo paneer kulcha is a indian bread stuffed with potato and paneer filling. The paratha is rolled and cooked till golden brown with a slather of butter.

Ingredients

  • For dough:
  • Wheat flour / Atta-1 cup
  • All purpose flour / Maida-1 cup
  • Potao-1 boiled and mashed
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil-1 tblspn
  • Warm water-as required.
  • For filling:
  • Potato-2 boiled and mashed
  • Tofu / Paneer-1 cup crumbled
  • Red chilli powder -1tsp
  • Garam masala powder-1 tsp
  • Chat masala powder-1 tsp
  • Coriander powder-1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tblspn
  • Cumin seeds-1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves-1 tblspn minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice-1 tblspn

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl add wheat flour,All purpose flour,potato,salt,oil and combine with your hands till it forms coarse crumbs.Slowly add in warm water and knead it into a soft dough..Cover the dough with damp cloth and let it rest for 30 min.
  • After 30 min,divide the dough into equal portions.set this aside.
  • For filling,Mix potato,paneer,chilli powder,garam masala powder,coriander powder,chat masala,salt together.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add cumin seeds and ginger garlic paste..Then add this filling and saute for 5 min.
  • Add in coriander leaves and lemon juice and switch off the flame.
  • Let this cool and then Divide into equal portions as per roti balls.
  • Take one roti ball add place the filling inside this and roll into thick roti.
  • Heat a tawa and place this roti in that and toast on both sides till golden.Dont forget to apply oil on both sides while toasting the paratha.
  • Serve hot with raita or any pickle..
