Ingredients

  • For Cake:
  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup / 120 grams
  • Cocoa Powder - 3 tblspn
  • Sugar - ¾ cup / 150 grams
  • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
  • Melted Butter - ¼ cup / 60 ml
  • Milk - ¼ cup / 60 ml
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • For Topping:
  • Sugar - ¼ cup / 50 grams
  • Cocoa Powder - 3 tblspn
  • Brown Sugar - ¼ cup / 50 grams
  • Hot Water - 1 cup / 240 ml

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Grease a baking pan with butter and set aside.
  • Now take all ingredients given in the cake list in a bowl and mix well. The batter will be thick.
  • Now spoon this into the pan and spread evenly.
  • Now take the topping ingredients in a bowl, except water and mix well. Sprinkle this mixture all over the cake and pour hot water gently over it.
  • Now pop this in oven and bake 25 to 30 mins.
  • Now remove this and set aside to cool for 5 mins.
  • Scoop and serve with ice cream.
