Ingredients

Eggless Chocolate Cake with Vinegar

  • 2 ¼ cup All Purpose Flour 270 grams
  • ½ cup Cocoa 50 grams
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar 200 grams
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar 100 grams
  • 1 ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • 1 ½ cup Water 360 ml
  • 1 ½ tbsp Vinegar
  • ½ cup Oil 120 ml
  • 2 tsp Instant Coffee Powder
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

For Frosting

  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter 110 grams
  • 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 350 grams Dark Chocolate
  • ½ cup Water 120 ml

Eggless Chocolate Cake (with Wheat flour & Milk)

  • 1 ¼ cup Whole Wheat Flour 150 grams
  • ¼ cup Cocoa 25 grams
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar 200 grams
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Milk 240 ml
  • ½ cup Melted Butter 120 ml
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Eggless Chocolate Cake with Yogurt

  • 1 ¼ cup All Purpose Flour 150 ml
  • ½ cup Cocoa 50 grams
  • ¾ cup Sugar 150 grams
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ cup Yogurt 60 ml
  • ¼ cup Milk 60 ml
  • ½ cup Oil 120 ml
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Instant Coffee Powder
  • ¾ cup Hot Boiling Water 180 ml

Instructions

Eggless Chocolate Cake with Vinegar

  • Preheat oven to 170 degree C.Line two 8 inch pan with parchment paper and grease it well with flour. Set aside.
  • Take both sugar, water, oil, vinegar, vanilla, coffee, salt in a bowl and mix well. Mix till sugar melts. Now add in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and mix well. The batter will be little liquidy.
  • Now divide the batter between two cake pan and bake them for 25 to 35 mins till a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove the cake from oven and set aside so it cools completely.
  • You have to start the frosting when the cakes are baking. Take water, brown sugar and butter in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil. Boil the mixture for 5 mins. Now take it off the heat and add in chopped chocolate. Let it sit for 5 mins. Whisk till chocolate melts. Set aside in fridge for 30 mins to firm. Remove it and whisk till creamy. Frosting is done.
  • Now take cooled cake, spread frosting all over it and sandwich with the other cake. Spread frosting all over the cake and let it set in fridge for 30 mins. Slice and serve.

Eggless Chocolate Cake (with Wheat flour & Milk)

  • Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Grease a 8 inch square pan with oil and dust with flour, tap off the excess flour and set aside. Instead of greasing the pan with oil and flour, you can use parchment paper.
  • Take wheat flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Whisk this using an electric beater or hand whisk till combined. Pour in milk, melted butter, vanilla extract and mix gently till combined. The chocolate cake batter is ready.
  • Pour the chocolate cake batter in a baking pan and bake until baked. Let the cake cool in the baking pan for 10 minutes, Invert it to a plate to cool. Once the cake is cooled completely, slice into pieces and enjoy.

Eggless Chocolate Cake with Yogurt

  • Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Grease a 18 cm round cake pan with oil and dust it with flour. Coat on all sides and set aside.
  • Take flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and sugar in a bowl. mix well till the mixture is combined. This is your dry ingredients.Add in oil, yogurt, milk and vanilla extract in with the dry ingredients. Mix in 1 tsp instant coffee with hot water. Pour it in and mix gently. Mix well to a smooth batter. Spoon the batter in a pan. Spread evenly. Bake for 35 to 40 mins. Let it cool for 15 mins in cake pan and remove it from pan and cool completely.
  • Take cream in a bowl. Whip till thick and stiff. Spread the cake with frosting.Decorate the cake with whipped cream, sprinkles. Slice and serve.
