Patta Gobi Ki Sabzi Recipe | Gobi Cabbage Sabzi Recipe | Cauliflower Cabbage Curry

Delicious and simple sabzi made using cabbage and cauliflower. This gobi cabbage sabzi is delicious on its own or as a side dish for rice, roti.

Ingredients

  • Cabbage - 3 cups sliced thinly
  • Cauliflower - 3 cups chopped and cooked with little salt
  • Oil - 2 tblspn
  • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
  • Kasuri Methi Leaves / Dried Fenugreek Leaves - 2 tblspn
  • Coriander leaves - 1 cup chopped finely
  • Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Take cauliflower in a pot, add in water and salt. mix well. Bring it to a boil and cook for 2 mins. Drain it and rinse it in cold water. Set aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add in cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
  • Add in cabbage, cauliflower in this and toss well. Add in turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Add in salt and cook covered for 5 to 7 mins.
  • Now add in the spice powders and toss well. Cook this for few more mins.
  • Now add in kasuri methi leaves and coriander leaves. mix well.
  • Serve with rice.
