Aloo Pakora Recipe | Potato Pakoda Recipe

Ingredients

  • Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu / Chickpea Flour - 1 cup
  • Corn Flour / Cornstarch - 1 tblspn
  • Onion - 2 large sliced thinly
  • Potato - 1 large peeled and cubed
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
  • Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Chat Masala Powder - 1 tblspn
  • Salt to taste
  • Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - ¼ tsp
  • Water - ¼ cup to ½ cup

Instructions

  • Take all ingredients in a bowl except oil and mix well. Add water slowly and make a thick batter. Keep the batter aside for 15 mins.
  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • Now use a spoon to drop small amount of batter in hot oil. Fry till golden and crispy.
  • Drain and serve.
