Ingredients

  • For Dough:
  • Maida-1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil-1 tsp
  • Water as required
  • For filling:
  • Egg-2
  • Onion- ½ chopped finely
  • Carrot- ½ grated
  • Green chilli-1 chopped finely
  • Coriander leaves-2 tblspn chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Make a soft dough by mixing flour,salt,oil and water.let this rest for 15 min..Divide into equal portions..
  • Mix all the ingredients given in the filling together.
  • You could make this roti in two different ways..
  • Method 1:
  • Take a portion of dough and spread it thinly as possible..Put it in hot tawa and pour some egg mixture in the center. Fold the roti on all sides so that it forms a square shape..Flip it over and cook on other side too. Cook the roti completely till the egg is cooked and roti gets golden on all sides..
  • Method 2:
  • Take a portion of dough and spread it thinly as possible.. Pour some egg mixture in the centre. Fold the roti on all sides so that it forms a square shape..Carefully take this parcel and put it on hot tawa and cook on both sides till golden and the egg is cooked.
  • Serve hot with ketcup or any of your favorite curry.
