Ingredients

  • 1 cup Maida / All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  • Take both flour, salt and oil in a bowl, mix well so the oil is well mixed in with the flour.
  • Add water slowly and knead it to a stiff smooth dough.
  • Set this aside for 15 mins.
  • Now divide this into equal balls.
  • Take one ball in a lightly oiled surface, roll it thinly into small round pooris.
  • Heat oil for deep frying, when it is hot, drop pooris in and press the top with a ladle, it will puff up.
  • Flip over and cook for few more sec.
  • Now drain it and serve with bhaji.
