Cinnamon French Toast with Poached Plum

Ingredients

  • For French Toast:
  • Bread Slices - 2
  • Butter - 2 to 3 tblspn
  • Eggs - 1
  • Cinnamon Powder - 1 tsp
  • Milk - ¼ cup
  • For Poached Plums:
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Plums - 6 to 10

Instructions

  • Start by making the poached plums, take sugar and water in a pan, bring it to a boil. Add in halved plums cut side down and let it simmer for 5 mins, flip over and let it simmer for another 5 mins. Now turn off the heat and set aside.
  • Take egg, cinnamon and milk in a bowl and mix well.
  • Take bread slices and dip them in the milk mix on both sides so it can absorb.
  • Heat butter in a pan, fry the bread slices till golden brown.
  • Drain and serve with poached plums.
