Ingredients

  • Lady Finger / Vendaikai - 15 cut into thin rounds
  • Chilli powder / Milagai podi - 1 tsp
  • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
  • Curd / Thick Yogurt - 2 tblspn
  • Oil - 3 tblspn
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add in mustard seeds and allow them to pop.
  • Now add in the lady finger and saute them in the oil for 2 mins.
  • Add in curd and mix well. Fry this on high heat till the curd evaporates and the lady finger gets nicely browned. Adding curd makes the sliminess out of the lady finger and makes it crispier.
  • Now add in salt and chilli powder and mix well.
  • You can cook this as per your liking. If you want it to be crispier, cook it for longer.
  • Switch off the heat and serve with rice and any gravy.
