Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins - Halloween Special Recipes

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins with step by step pictures. This is made with Pumpkin puree, Chocolate Chips , Cinnamon and Flour.

  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour /Maida
  • ¾tsp Baking Soda
  • 1tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ground Dry Ginger
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¾cup Pumpkin Puree Click here for recipe
  • ½ cup Oil
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1cup + extra for sprinkling on top of muffins Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Egg
  • 1tsp Vanilla Essence
  • ¼ cupWater


  • Preheat the oven to
  • 180 Degree C / 360 Degree F. Line your muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • Take flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt in a bowl and mix well. Set this aside.
  • Take a bowl. Add in oil, sugar and egg. Beat well till they are mixed.
  • Now add in vanillaand beat again.
  • Now add in the pumpkin puree, water and mix well.
  • Add the dried ingredients and beat well. Don't over mix the batter.
  • Add the chocolatechips and using a spatula fold them in.
  • Now using a icecream scoop, spoon equal amount of batter into the muffin cases.
  • Sprinkle some chocolate chips on top of the muffins.
  • Bake them in the oven for 20-25 mins till they are golden. Use a tooth pick and insert them intothe muffin, if they come clean they are ready.
  • Remove them from oven and let them cool completely before removing from the cases.
  • Serve warm or at room temp.
