Ingredients
  

  • Eggs - 8
  • Oil for Deep frying
  • For Batter:
  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup
  • Rice Flour or Cornflour - 2 tblspn
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Freshly Ground Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - ½ tsp
  • Fennel Seed Powder / Saunf or Sombu Podi - 1 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - a pinch
  • Water as needed

Instructions
 

  • Hard boil eggs, peel them, and cut them in half.
  • Mix all the ingredients for batter to a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • Dip the halved eggs in the batter and fry in hot oil till golden.
  • Drain on to some paper towel.
  • Serve with ketchup
