Ingredients

  • 500 grams Chicken
  • 2 large Onion chopped finely
  • 4 large Tomatoes chopped finely
  • 3 Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / Manjal podi
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder / Malli podi
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp Red chilli sauce or Green Chilli Sauce
  • to taste Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp Oil-3 tblspn
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • Cilantro / Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a kadai..Add in onions and fry till golden..Add in curry leaves and green chillies . Fry this for few minutes.
  • Now add in ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  • Add in tomatoes and mix well. Season with salt.
  • Add in turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Now add in chicken pieces and mix well..Sear on all sides.Cook this with open lid for 15 minutes on a low flame.
  • Now add in chilli powder and coriander powder and mix well.
  • Cook this for 15 mins. Now pour in chilli sauce and mix well.
  • Garnish with cilantro and curry leaves.
