Ingredients

  • For Mutton:
  • 500 grams Boneless Mutton
  • 2 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup Water
  • For Curry:
  • ¼ cup Coconut Oil
  • 2 tsp Fennel Seeds / Saunf / Sombu
  • 2 large sliced thinly Onion
  • 3 slit Green Chilli
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Curry leaves a handful
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped

Instructions

  • Take mutton and other thing given in a cooker and pressure cook for 12 to 15 whistle. Remove it from flame and let the pressure release all by itself. Open the cooker and set aside.
  • Now heat oil in a pan, add fennel and sizzle.
  • Add in onions, curry leaves and green chilli and saute for few mins.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  • Add in cooked mutton and the spice powder and mix well.
  • Keep tossing it so the mutton shreds apart.
  • Let all the water dry out. Keep tossing it up. Now add in pepper powder and mix well.
  • Add in coriander leaves and toss well.
  • Serve.
