Ingredients

  • 3 ¼ cup / 420 grams All Purpose Flour / Maida
  • 1 cup / 200 grams Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 cup / 240 ml Oil
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 2 cup / 480 ml Milk
  • ¾ cup Jam any jam as you like
  • Icing Sugar as needed for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Oil two round baking pan, dust it with flour and tap off the excess. Set this aside.
  • Take flour, sugar, baking powder in a bowl and mix well.
  • Add in oil, milk, vanilla and mix well to a smooth batter.
  • Pour this into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 45 mins till done.
  • Remove it from oven and let it cool completely.
  • Now invert it to a cooling rack or plate.
  • Sandwich the two cakes with some jam and dust the top with icing sugar.
  • Serve.
