Semiya Ice Recipe with step by step pictures. This is a delicious popsicle prepared using milk, semiya and sugar and an easy icy treat loaded with nutrients.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup or a small handful Semiya / Vermicelli
  • 1 liter Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

Instructions

  • Take semiya, milk in a sauce pan, bring it to a boil.
  • Simmer the flame and cook on a medium heat till the semiya is cooked.
  • Now add in sugar and simmer for few more mins.
  • Now add in essence and mix well.
  • Pour this into a jug and let it cool a little.
  • Pour this into moulds and pop it into the freezer and freeze till it is half set.
  • Now insert popsicle stick into it and pop it back into the freezer and let it set overnight.
  • When unmoulding, run the mould under tap water and slowly unmould.
  • Enjoy immediately.
