Ingredients

  • 1 Chow Chow / Chayote chopped finely
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Water
  • Salt to taste
  • For Grinding:
  • ½ cup Coconut
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tsp Rice Flour
  • For Seasoning:
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • 1 sprig Curry Leaves

Instructions

  • Grind the ingredients for grinding till smooth.
  • Take chow chow in a sauce pan. Add in milk and water and cook till chow chow is done.
  • Add in coconut masala. mix well. Cook for 2 mins or so. Add salt and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add in mustard and urad dal and let them sizzle. Add curry leaves and let them sizzle.
  • Pour this in the curry and mix well.
