Lebanese Shawarma Pickle Recipe with step by step pictures. This is made with Carrot, Beetroot, Cucumber and Radish.

Ingredients

  • 1 large Carrot
  • 1 large Beetroot peeled and cut into stick
  • 1 Cucumber deseeded and cut into stick
  • 1 Radish peeled and cut into stick
  • 3 to 4 slit Green chilli
  • For Brine:
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1.5 cup Vinegar
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seeds

Instructions

  • Take veggies in a sauce pan, cover with water and cook for 2 to 4 mins till the veggies is lightly cooked. The veggies should just bent and yet crunchy. Drain it. if you are using cucumber dont boil it.
  • Take all the brine in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil.
  • Take veggies and green chillies in a bowl.
  • Pour this over veggies and cool it.
  • Pour it in a bottle and store in fridge.
