Ingredients

  • 5 Chicken Drumsticks You can use any chicken parts
  • 2 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • For Grinding:
  • 2 large Onion chopped
  • 10 Spring Onions chopped
  • 1 large Tomato chopped
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • For Tempering:
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
  • 3 Cardamom

Instructions

  • Take ingredients given for grinding in a blender and make into a fine puree.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add in the ingredients given for tempering. Saute for a min.
  • Add in the ground masala and mix well. Cook this for 10 mins till the masala gets cooked.
  • Add in the spice powders and salt. Saute this for a min.
  • Add in chicken drumstick and mix well.
  • Pour a cup of water and cover the pressure cooker.
  • Let it cook for 4 whistle. Then simmer the flame for 15 mins. Switch off the flame and let the steam go all by itself.
  • Now open the pressure cooker and serve the curry with roti.
