Ingredients

  • 1 Ridge Gourd peeled and sliced lengthwise
  • 1 medium Onion sliced thinly
  • 2 Green Chillies slit lengthwise
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup Coconut grated
  • For Seasoning:
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan, add in the seasoning ingredients and let it sizzle for a min.
  • Add in onions, chillies, salt and turmeric and mix well.
  • Now add in ridge gourd and toss well. Cover and simmer on a low heat for 10 mins till it is cooked.,
  • Now add in chilli powder and mix well.
  • Add in coconut and stir fry till it is combined.
  • Now serve with rice.
