Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add in the whole spices and let them sizzle.
Now add in tomatoes and cook till raw smell leaves away.
Now add in the ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
Add in the spice powders except garam masala powder and mix well.
Add in salt and sugar to taste and cook till oil separates from the mix.
Add in water as needed along with tofu and peas. Cover and pressure cook for 1 whistle. Simmer the flame and cook for 5 mins. Turn off the heat and let the steam go all by itself.
Open the cooker, add in garam masala powder and simmer for a min.
