Ingredients

  • ½ cup + ¼ cup Walnuts
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 250 grams Khoya
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Ghee + more for greasing
  • ½ tsp Cardamom Powder

Instructions

  • Take ½ cup of walnuts in a bowl, add in ¼ cup of milk and soak it for 1 hour. Now take it in a blender and puree coarse.
  • Now heat 1 tblspn of ghee in a kadai. Add in the remaining ¼ cup walnuts and saute till golden, drain and set aside.
  • Now in the same ghee, add in khoya and sugar and mix well. Now add in the walnut puree and mix well.
  • Keep cooking this till it gets thick and leaves the sides. Add in cardamom powder and fried walnuts and mix well.
  • Spread this on a greased plate and let it set for few hours.
  • Slice and serve.
