Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • ¼ tsp Fenugreek Seeds
  • Curry leaves a small handful
  • 1 large Onion chopped finely
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder
  • For Prawns:
  • 20 to 25 Prawns
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice or Vinegar

Instructions

  • Take all ingredients for prawns and mix well. Set aside and let it marinate.
  • Now heat oil in a pan, add in mustard, urad dal and fenugreek seeds and let it sizzle for a min.
  • Add in curry leaves and mix wel.
  • Add in onions, chillies and salt. Saute till onions is well browned.
  • Now add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
  • Add in the spice powder given, saute for few sec.
  • Now add in prawns and coat this well in the masala for few mins..
  • Now cook this on low heat for couple of mins.
  • Now increase the heat and brown the prawns till it is completely roasted.
  • Serve hot.
