Ingredients

cup
Rice Flour
▢
1
cup
Water
▢
Salt to taste
▢

tsp
Red Chilli Powder
▢
¼
tsp
Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi
▢

tbsp
Sesame Seeds
▢
Oil for Deep frying + 1 tsp
Instructions
▢
Heat water in a sauce pan, and bring it to a boil.
▢
Take it off the heat and add in salt and rice flour. Mix well so it comes together. If it is sticky add more rice flour and mix well.
▢
Now remove the dough to a bowl and let it cool a bit. Knead it to a soft dough.
▢
Add in chilli powder, sesame seeds and asafoetida. Mix well.
▢
Now heat a tsp of oil till it is smoky, pour that over the dough and mix well.
▢
Divide the dough into equal small balls.
▢
Take a ball and roll it thinly, bring both the sides together and pinch them up.
▢
Heat oil for deep frying.
▢
Drop in the rings and fry till golden and the shh sound subsides in the oil.
▢
Drain it and let it cool completely.
▢
Store it in a air tight container and enjoy..
