Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rava / Sooji / Semolina
  • 1 medium Onion chopped finely
  • 3 Green Chilli chopped finely
  • 1 large Carrot chopped finely
  • 1 cup Water
  • For Seasoning:
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • ¼ tsp Asafoetida
  • 1 sprig Curry Leaves

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add in all seasoning ingredients and saute for a min.
  • Add in onions, chillies and saute for a min. Add in carrots and saute for 2 mins. Add in salt and mix well.
  • Add in sooji and saute for a min. Mean while boil 1 cup of water in a sauce pan.
  • Pour this water over the sooji and mix well Keep mixing till it forms into a mass.
  • Transfer it to a bowl and let it cool down. Once it is cooled, shapeinto small balls and place it in a steamer pot and steam it for 10 mins.
  • Now serve this any chutney.
