Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 5 cloves Garlic sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp Ginger grated
  • 4 Shallots / Sambar Onion / Chinna Ulli chopped finely
  • 1 Tomatoes chopped finely
  • 4 cups Drumstick Leaves packed
  • 6 cups Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a sauce pan. Add in cumin seeds and let it sizzle.
  • Add in garlic, ginger and saute for a min.
  • Add in shallots and saute for 2 mins or so.
  • Add in tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy.
  • Add in drumstick leaves and saute for 4 to 5 mins.
  • Add in water and cook for 5 mins. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot.
