Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked Soya Chunks
  • 1 large finely chopped Onion
  • 1 finely chopped Green Chillies
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • ½ cup Frozen Pear
  • 3 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder / Malli Podi
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder / Jeera Podi
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seeds / Saunf / Sombu
  • 1 small piece Cinnamon Stick
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped Coriander Powder / Cilantro
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  • Take cooked soya chunks in a mixer and crush them two to three times, so they are finely minced. Set aside till use.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add in fennel seeds and cinnamon and let them sizzle.
  • Now add in onions and green chillies, saute for a min.
  • Add in ginger garlic paste and saute for 30 sec.
  • Add in salt, sugar and all spice powders and saute for 30 sec.
  • Now add in frozen peas, tomato ketchup and water, mix well.
  • Add in the minced soya and mix well. Cook this for 5 to 8 mins.
  • Now add in coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Switch off the flame and serve with roti.
