Water as needed

Tamarind Pulp

Instructions
▢
Wash yam very well in water. Add them to a sauce pan and cover them with fresh water.
▢
Bring them to boil and cook them for 15 to 20 mins till they are cooked and tender.
▢
Drain them and peel the skin off.
▢
Now add them back into the same pan and cover with fresh water.
▢
Add in tamarind pulp and bring that to a boil again. Let it boil for 5 more mins.
▢
Now drain them and they are ready to use.
