Milk toast recipe, made with few ingredients makes a great snack, breakfast or brunch. This eggless milk toast is made with bread slices, sugar, milk and vanilla extract. Once bread is dunked in the sweetened vanilla scented milk mix, cooked in ghee or butter makes a tasty milk toast.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices White Bread
  • 4 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 4 tablespoon Butter or Ghee as needed

Instructions
 

  • Mix sugar, vanilla and milk in a bowl. Mix well until sugar is completely melted.
  • Heat butter or ghee in a nonstick pan. Let it heat up.
  • Dip bread in the milk briefly, a quick dunk is enough. Place the toast in the nonstick pan. Cook the bread on both sides till golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
