Nigella’s Everyday Brownies is a moist fudgy brownies which has chocolate nuggets scattered all over it. One of the most easy brownie recipe made with butter, sugar, eggs, cocoa and flour. Learn how to make delicious moist brownies with step by step pictures and video.
Preheat the oven to 180 Degree C or 375 Degree F. Line a 4 to 5 inch square tin with foil and apply some butter on it. You can line it with parchment paper as well.
In a sauce pan add butter, sugar and melt it on low heat. Add in cocoa and mix well. Turn the heat off and set aside for 2 minutes. Add in flour, baking soda, salt and mix gently using a spoon. Add in eggs, vanilla and mix till it becomes smooth consistency. Now fold in the chopped milk chocolate and mix well.
Pour in to the tin and bake it in the oven for 25-30 min. Insert a knife it will have some moist crumbs in it. Cut into squares and enjoy with a glass of milk or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
When melting butter, make sure the heat is low so you don't burn anything.
Once cocoa is added, make sure you turn off the heat and let it sit for 2 minutes for the cocoa to bloom.
Instead of lining the pan with foil, you can line it with parchment paper.
Don't over bake the brownies, else it may turn hard.
Storage
The brownies can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in an airtight container. Will keep for total of 5 days.The brownies can be frozen for up to 3 months in airtight container, layered with baking parchment. Thaw overnight in cool place.
