Creme Brulee Recipe

Creme brulee is a classic french dessert which is so delicious and taste so yummy. This is super easy to make and taste so rich.

Ingredients

  • Egg yolk - 2
  • Sugar - ⅓ cup
  • Cream - 1 cup 240 ml
  • Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 2 tblsp

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 160 degree C.
  • Heat cream till it comes to a simmering point.
  • Take egg yolk in a bowl, add in sugar and vanilla and whip till creamy and light.
  • Add in hot cream little by little and mix well.
  • Strain this and pour it into individual ramekins.
  • Now place this in a baking tray. Pour hot water half way through the ramekins.
  • Bake this for 35 to 40 mins. Remove and put it in fridge overnight or for 2 hours.
  • Next day sprinkle some sugar on top of the custard.
  • Pop this under broiler and broil on high temparature for 5 to 7 mins. Keep a close eye on the pot.
  • Once it is brown and caramelized.
  • Remove and serve warm or cold.
