Mango Kesari Recipe

Soft rava kesari made using mangoes and sooji. This mango kesari taste so amazing for any festive occasions.

  • Sooji / Rava / Semolina - ½ cup
  • Sugar - ½ cup to ¾ cup
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Ghee - ⅓ cup
  • Ripe Mangoes - 2 peeled and cubed
  • Cashews - 10


  • Take mangoes and sugar in a blender and puree smooth.
  • Heat ghee in a kadai, add in cashews and fry till golden. Now add in sooji and roast it on low heat for 3 to 4 mins till it starts to smell good.
  • Once it is roasted, add in water and mix well. Cook till it thickens.
  • Now add in mango puree and mix well.
  • Cook for few mins, it should be little runny or little semi liquid. Once it is at that stage, turn off the heat and let it cool down.
  • Scoop and serve.
