Ingredients

  • Horsegram / Kollu - 2 cup
  • Rice - 1 cup
  • Yellow Moong Dal - ½ cup
  • Toor Dal - ½ cup
  • Urad dal - ½ cup
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tblspn
  • Salt to taste
  • Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi - ½ tsp
  • Onion - 1 large chopped finely
  • Green Chillies - 2 chopped
  • Ginger - 1 tblspn chopped finely
  • Curry leaves a handful
  • Oil as needed

Instructions

  • Soak horse gram, rice, dals together for 4 hours. Drain and take it in a blender. Puree coarsely and take it in a container.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a tawa, pour ladleful of batter and make dosa. Drizzle oil around the sides and cook till golden on both sides.
  • Serve with chutney.
