Sattu Drink Recipe (Sweet and Salty with Homemade Sattu powder)

Sattu Drink Recipe, also known as Desi Protein Shake made with Homemade Sattu Flour. It is so popular in Bihari cuisine and consumed as a natural body coolant for summer days. This High protein summer cooler is made with my homemade sattu flour which is included in this post. You can make them 2 ways, I have shared salty sattu drink and sweet sattu sharbat in this recipe post.
Take coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies, ginger, curd, cumin powder, chaat masala powder, salt, black salt, yogurt in a blender. Add in 1 cup of water and blend them to a smooth puree.
Add in sattu flour, 1 cup of water and pulse few times till it is evenly combined. Taste this and adjust lemon juice and salt.
Now pour this into 2 serving glass and top with onions and coriander leaves. Serve cold.
For Sweet Sattu Sharbat
Take sattu flour, cumin powder, jaggery, black salt, chaat masala powder in a bowl or jug. Pour in cold water and lemon juice. Use a whisk to mix until it is combined. Taste and adjust the lemon juice and black salt to your taste.
Pour into serving glass and enjoy.
