Whole wheat brownies, the best recipe for a fugdy, chocolaty brownie recipe that is made with wheat flour, butter, sugar, cocoa, milk, baking powder and salt. The brownies are topped with chopped toblerone chocolate to create decadent brownie squares.
Preheat oven to 180 degree C (360 degree F). Line a 20 cm brownie pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Take butter in a sauce pan and melt over low heat until it is completely melted. Now remove the pan from heat, add in sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla extract and give a good mix. Now add in milk and mix until the sugar is almost melted.
Now add in whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt and mix until a smooth batter is formed. Add in chopped milk chocolate and mix well.
Now transfer this batter to a parchment lined baking pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and top with chopped chocolate or Toblerone. Press the chocolate lightly so it sticks to the brownies.
Now allow the brownie to cool completely. Slice into pieces and serve.
