Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup
  • Gram Flour / Kadalai Mavu - ¼ cup
  • Curd / Yogurt - ½ cup
  • Water as needed
  • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakm - 1 tsp
  • Ginger - 1 tsp grated
  • Onion - 4 tblspn finely chopped
  • Green Chillies - 1 chopped finely
  • Curry leaves - 2 sprigs chopped finely
  • Coriander Leaves - 1 tblspn finely
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar - ½ tsp
  • Baking Soda - ½ tsp
  • Oil for Deep frying
  • For Getti Chutney:
  • Fresh Coconut - ½ cup grated
  • Roasted Gram Dal / Pottu Kadalai - 2 tblspn
  • Green Chillies - 3
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  • Take all the ingredients in a bowl and make it into a smooth batter.
  • Heat oil for deep frying, drop spoonful of batter in and fry till golden.
  • Drain and serve with chutney.
  • For Chutney:
  • Take all the ingredients in a mixer and make it into a smooth paste by adding little water.
  • Serve with bajji.
