Ingredients

  • Chicken - 250 grams
  • Onion-1 cut into big pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
  • Cornflour – 1 tsp
  • For Crushing:
  • Ginger – 1 inch piece cut into chunks
  • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
  • Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Water – as needed

Instructions

  • Take the grinding ingredients in a blender and pulse few times. Set aside.
  • Take chicken, salt, turmeric powder, onions, crushed masala and water in a pressure cooker.
  • Pressure cook for 3 whistle, now simmer the flame and cook for 5 mins. Turn off the heat and open the cooker.
  • Remove the chicken and remove the meat from it.
  • Add it back to the pot and add some cornflour which is mixed with some water and bring it to a boil.
  • Turn off the heat and Serve piping hot and enjoy.
