shredded Cabbage

large grated Carrot
▢

Oil

Mustard Seeds / Kaduku

Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam

a pinch Asafoetida / Kaya Podi / Hing

chopped finely Green Chilli

Coriander Powder / Malli podi

Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped
Instructions
▢
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, cumin, asafoetida and let it sizzle.
▢
Add in green chillies and mix well.
▢
Now add in cabbage and carrots and saute well. Cook for 5 to 7 mins.
▢
Add in chilli, coriander and turmeric powder and mix well.
▢
Then add in salt and sugar and toss well.
▢
Add in lemon juice and coriander leaves. Mix well.
▢
Serve.
