Ingredients

  • 20 Figs
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar

Instructions

  • Put a plate in freezer.
  • Sterilize a glass jar, remove and set aside to drain.
  • Take ¾th of the figs in a blender and puree. Take that in a pan.
  • Add in remaining chopped figs along with sugar and mix well.
  • Cook this for 15 mins on medium heat till it gets thick and leaves the sides.
  • Spoon a little bit on the plate and it will get thick like a jam, this is when you know that the jam is done.
  • Cool it a bit and spoon it into the jar. Cover it and store in fridge.
