Drumstick Poriyal Recipe with step by step pictures. I have shared two version of drumstick poriyal. Drumstick brinjal poriyal and drumstick potato poriyal. Both of these goes well with rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 large Onion Sliced
  • 1 large Tomato chopped
  • 1 large Drumstick cut and slit lengthwise
  • 1 large Brinjal chopped
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add in mustard seeds and allow them to pop.
  • Add in onions, tomatoes, drumstick and brinjal. Mix them well in the oil. Add in some salt and turmeric powder. Toss well. Cover and Cook for 10 mins on a very low flame till the vegetables are done.
  • Now open the pan and add in chilli powder. Toss them well.
  • Serve this curry with rice.
