Drumstick Poriyal Recipe with step by step pictures. I have shared two version of drumstick poriyal. Drumstick brinjal poriyal and drumstick potato poriyal. Both of these goes well with rice.

This is such a simple dish, just a normal poriyal. But the vegetables combination in this is so perfect. All these four veggies pair beautiful with each other and compliment the taste. This taste best with sambar rice , rasam rice or even curd rice..So try this out and let me know what you think.

Drumstick Potato Poriyal Recipe
Ingredients for Drumstick Poriyal
- Onion - 1 large Sliced
- Tomato - 1 large chopped
- Drumstick / Murungakai - 1 large cut and slit lengthwise
- Potato - 2 large peeled and chopped
- Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coconut Oil - 2 tblspn
- Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves a handful
How to Make Drumstick Poriyal
- Heat oil in a kadai. Add in fennel seeds and allow them to pop.
- Add in onions, tomatoes, drumstick and potato. Mix them well in the oil. Add in some salt and turmeric powder. Toss well. Cover and Cook for 10 mins on a very low flame till the vegetables are done.
- Now open the pan and add in chilli powder. Toss them well.
- Serve this curry with rice.

Ingredients
