Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 Green Tomato around 3 cups (chopped finely)
  • 1 to 2 tbsp Salt
  • For Roasting & Grinding:
  • 2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 6 to 8 Dry Red Chilli
  • ½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds
  • For Seasoning Oil:
  • ¼ cup Gingelly Oil
  • ¼ tsp Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi
  • Curry leaves a small handful

Instructions

  • Take all roasting ingredients in a pan and toast till golden. Take it in a blender and powder finely.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add asafoetida and curry leaves and mix well. Let it sizzle. Now set aside so it cools
  • Take chopped green tomatoes in a bowl, add in the powder, salt and mix well.
  • Now pour this over the tomatoes and mix well.
  • Store in a clean jar for 2 days before serving.
