Ingredients

Rice

For Sesame Powder:

Roasted Peanut

For Seasoning:

Instructions
▢
Take 1 cup rice in a pressure cooker, cover with 2.5 cup of water and pressure cook rice for 2 whistle and simmer for 5 mins.
▢
Switch off the flame and let the steam go all by itself.
▢
Now fluff the rice with for and allow it to cool down.
▢
Start by making sesame seed powder.
▢
Heat oil and add in sesame seeds and toast them for a min.
▢
Now add in peanuts and fry them for 30 sec till they are light golden.
▢
Now add in dry red chilli, coconut and asafoetida, Fry them together for couple of mins.
▢
Once everything is nice and toasted, take them in a blender and make into a rough powder.
▢
Now heat 1 tblspn oil and add the seasoning ingredients, let them splatter for a min.
▢
Add in rice and salt mix well.
▢
Add in sesame seeds powder and mix well.
▢
Once everything is heated through. Turn off the heat and serve.
