Ingredients

  • 1 cup Split Yellow Moong Dal
  • 1 tbsp Whole Coriander Seeds
  • 2 Green Chilli
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for Deep Frying

Instructions

  • Wash Moong dal in several changes of water . Soak it in water for 2 hours. Drain it and add in a blender.
  • Grind it till it is half done. Now add green chillies, coriander seeds, pepper and salt and grind into a slight coarse paste. Transfer into a bowl.
  • Heat oil for deep frying and drop a spoonful of this mixture in oil and fry till golden.
  • Drain it in a paper towel.
  • Serve with ketchup of any of chat chutneys..
