Ingredients

  • Quail / Kaada - 7
  • Oil for Deep Frying
  • For Marination:
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tblspn
  • Curry leaves - 1 spring
  • Chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder / Manjal podi - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon Juice - 2 tblspn
  • Rice Flour or Corn Starch - 3 tblspn

Instructions

  • Take all the marination ingrediants except rice flour in a large bowl and mix well to a paste.
  • Now add in quail and apply the marination all over the quail.
  • Allow this to marinate for atleast 2 hours.
  • Now heat up oil for deep frying.
  • Sprinkle some rice flour or corn starch over the quail and mix well.
  • Drop quail in hot oil and fry till they turn golden brown and completely cooked through.This will take around 10 mins.
  • Now remove this from oil.
  • Serve this with raw onion rings and lemon wedge.
