Atta ladoo is also known as Wheat flour ladoo, godhumai maavu laddu or atta ke laddu. It is a traditional Indian sweet made using whole wheat flour, roasted gram dal, sugar, ghee and cardamom.
This is an amazing sweet which melts in our mouth. It is popular during festivals like Krishna Jayanthi, Diwali. This ladoo is very healthy for kids and pregnant women. Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • ½ cup Roasted Gram Dal Pori Kadalai
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
  • ½ cup Ghee
  • 3 tablespoon Cashews chopped finely

Instructions
 

  • Powder sugar separately in a blender and set aside. Take roasted gram dal (pottu kadalai) in a blender and powder fine. Set this aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoon in a kadai. Add in cashews and fry till golden. Remove it to a bowl and set aside.
  • Add in wheat flour and fry for few mins till light golden and aromatic. Then add in powdered sugar and porikadalai powder and mix well. Add in the remaining ghee and mix well.
  • Roast it for few more mins till the sugar is little melted and it starts to get little moist and golden brown. Now add in cardamom powder and fried cashews. Mix well and take it off the heat. Allow the mix to cool down.
  • Take a small portion from this and shape it into tight ladoos. Store this in an air tight container and serve.
