If you are looking for a simple chicken fry for evening snack or quick hunger fix, then this batter fried chicken is the answer. it is super easy to make but stays crispy and crunchy and taste so delicious with mayonnaise or tomato ketchup.
Wash and dry boneless chicken breast. Cut chicken into strips.
Take flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, pepper, paprika in a bowl. Add water and make it into a smooth slightly thick batter.
Take chicken strips, coat them in plain flour or cornstarch. Now dip in batter, and drop them in hot oil. Fry 2 minutes on each side, flip over and cook until golden brown and crispy.
Strain using slotted spoon on some paper towel. Serve with ketchup.
Notes
Make sure the batter is slightly thick so it gets crispy when fried golden.
You can season the batter with any of your favorite seasoning like dried oregano, basil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder or onion powder.
You can use chicken tenders in this recipe.
Fried chicken can be stuffed inside bread or burger buns and made into sandwich.
Final sprinkle of peri peri seasoning over fried chicken enhances the taste.
