Batter Fried Chicken Recipe (Super Crunchy Chicken Tip Included)
Aarthi
I bet you would have never seen a chicken this crispy before. If you are looking for a simple chicken fry for evening snack or quick hunger fix, then this batter fried chicken is the answer. I use a little hack to make the chicken extra crispy, it is super easy to make but stays crispy and crunchy and taste so delicious with mayonnaise or tomato ketchup.
Wash and dry boneless chicken breast. Cut chicken into strips.
Take flour, rice flour, gram flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika in a bowl. Add cold water and make it into a smooth slightly thin batter. The batter should coat the back of the spoon.
Heat oil for deep frying in a pot.
Take chicken strips, coat them in cornstarch lightly. Now take the chicken and dip in batter, and drop them in hot oil. Let it fry for 10 seconds.
Now take a fork, dip it in the batter and drizzle it over the chicken strips generously so it forms small drops and stripes over the chicken. Flip chicken over and drizzle more batter like this. This makes the outer part super crispy.
Fry 2 minutes on each side, flip over and cook until golden brown and crispy.
Strain using slotted spoon on some paper towel. Serve with ketchup.
