Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu
  • ½ cup grated or use powdered one Jaggery / Sarkarai / Gur
  • ½ cup Ghee / Clarified Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 to 5 tblspn Cashews Almonds, Kishmish

Instructions
 

  • Heat a nonstick pan, add in gram flour and roast on a medium heat till it darkens in colour and the raw smell leaves completely off. It will take around 8 to 10 mins.
  • Now add in jaggery and mix well. Stir fry this for 2 mins or so.
  • Now add in ghee and mix well. Cook this for 2 mins or so..
  • Now add in milk and mix well so no lumps are formed.
  • Now Keep cooking this till it thickens and leaves the sides.
  • Now heat a tblspn of ghee and fry all the nuts and dried fruits in it. Now add it into the halwa and mix well.
  • Serve warm.
